Giday all,
Just another little problem ive benn having with the race car.. Its getting too much fuel.
Fuel pressure is good and the injectors are firing good. Its not batch firing the injectors and its firing the injectors at the correct time. But the car is still getting too much fuel, enough that it wont start at times. The cure seems to be shut the fuel valve off and roll the car over until it starts then turn the fuel back on.
The plugs, wires, cap and rotor are all new. Fuel filter(s) are good. Return line isnt blocked.

Any ideas??
Thanks
Drew

I assume that fuel pressure has been checked with a gauge to make sure that it's within specifications.
I would also check the vacuum line for the fuel pressure regulator as well. How is the regulator itself?

Fuel Pressure has been checked with a gauge(gauge is actually in the fuel line), vacuum line has been replaced. The regulator has also been checked. Hold pressure is also good so the fuel isnt bleeding through the injectors.

Leaky injectors would be the next thing I would test. Unless they're new I wouldn't worry about it. How big are the injectors? I assume you've got a tuning device anyway.

If the fuel system is fine, then it could either be the maf or 02.

Injectors arent leaking and they are factory 1.8l injectors currently. Maf was replaced before i got the car. Guess o2 sensor is the next thing to check.
